Monday, 3 March Update. I met with the XBoard (minus Pat) today. I wanted to share some info about jersey prices and logo options. I also wanted to know if the March Board of Directors meeting would have the jerseys & logo as an agenda item. I was in for a surprise.
Breaking News! One of the ballot choices will be to keep the same jerseys & logo.
- Do you want new jerseys? yes or no. If “no” turn in your ballot.
- If yes, select a jersey style: #1 or #2 or #3.
- Should we keep the Wolf Logo? yes or no

Although, I like the current wolf crest, I went rogue and asked the artist at Al Ross to use the Washington Capitals logo as a starting point. Except SHAW (instead of Capitals), Milwaukee (instead of Washington), make the H into a hockey stick. I think it’s sharp. I guess it is just an idea of what if possible if members favor adopting a new logo. SHAW jerseys
I confess that I am not a fan of the current jersey. I understand that lots of people are really nostalgic about it and I respect that. Truth is, your opinion is more important than mine. After all, you are the paying customer. If you like the current jersey & logo, vote accordingly. Keep in mind that a vote for the status quo does not resolve several issues: relatively high cost, mediocre customer service, missed delivery deadlines. I believe that there were good reasons that this ad hoc committee was created & a vote not to change does not address these problems.
If I can salvage something from this experience, I have to admit that learned alot since November when I was appointed to this committee. What a long, strange trip this has been.
