Other news.
Director of Coaches, Mike Wargolet will be taking the Ice Chips through their paces on Saturday.
First & Last Whistle of Practice. All devos must gather by the coach as quickly as possible. Any on-ice volunteers should assist stragglers. Anything else is secondary.
This is especially important at the end of practice as a matter of courtesy to rink personnel and as a safety issue. Dan Roddy (Wilson Park Rink) asked that I make sure devos are getting off the ice promptly so we don’t thow off their schedule. We will comply because it is the courteous thing to do. Last Saturday took an inordinately long time to gather everyone at the last whistle. When that zamboni door opens everyone must be off the ice. This is a very important safety issue. When the last whisle blows, all players must gather by the coach. Thanks in advance for your assistance & cooperation.
