SHAW members in good standing may nominate candidates for officer positions & are eligible to vote in the annual election. In this election cycle three officer positions are on the ballot: VP-on-Ice, VP-off-Ice & Secretary. Winners take office in July and serve two year terms. Vice-President–On-Ice
A. Preside and perform the duties of the President in his/her absence.
B. Supervise the activities of Directors-at-Large as determined by the Executive Board each year.
C. Mediate disputes regarding on ice activities when brought to his/her attention by a Manager or Director-at-Large.
Vice-President–Off-Ice
A. Preside and perform the duties of the absence of the President and Vice President – On Ice
B. Supervise the activities of Directors-at-Large as determined by the Executive Board each year.
C. Mediate disputes regarding off ice activities when brought to his/her attention by a Manager or Director-at-Large.
Secretary
A. Supervise the activities of Directors-at-Large as determined by the Executive Board each year.
B. Keep minutes of all general membership and Board of Directors meetings
C. Take roll call at Board of Directors meetings
D. Notify all members of the Board of Directors of meetings
E. Be responsible for all correspondence and informational materials both incoming and outgoing.
